Jean Greenhowe's Dolly Mixtures book contains the patterns for 8 wonderful little dolls each standing approximately 23cm (9in), there are 2 doggies measuring about 6cm (2 1/2in) and a tiny teddy called snuggles is only 5cm (2in). Each is made from approximately 70g oddments of yarn and 85g of toy stuffing.
The patterns included are:
- Bertie the Clown - Bertie is accompanied by his dog Bob
- Princess Penelope - has her favourite teddy Snuggles
- Annabel and Edward - look as if they have just stepped out of a childrens fairy tale
- Jake the Pirate - complete with his treasure sack

- Rosie - a Covent Garden flower seller
- Alfie the Elf - a charming little fellow with his sack
